Phyllis McLeroy Sanford, age 76 of Douglasville passed away August 15, 2014. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at Davis Struempf Chapel with Rev. Keith Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home.
Phyllis retired from Rayloc after 22 years. She enjoyed reading and the love she had for her family was immeasurable.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl Sanford; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kim Sanford of Douglasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Chrystie and Benny Adams of Powder Springs and Julie and Jack Ferguson of Douglasville; grandchildren, Ryan Adams, John Sanford, Sarah Sanford, Alexandria Ferguson, Katheryn Ferguson; great-granddaughter, Naomi Adams; brother, Johnny McLeroy of Zebulon; sisters, Wanda Fural of Powder Springs and Melanie Howard of Zebulon.
