Perry E. Robinson's Obituary
Perry Ernest Robinson, a beloved son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 68. Perry touched the lives of many through his kindness, his humor, and the way he loved and served others throughout his incredible life.
Born in 1958 in Austell, Georgia, Perry was the son of Bobbie Jean and Wendell Robinson. He was the best brother to his two sisters and an amazing uncle to every niece, nephew, great-niece, great-nephew, and great-great-niece. He loved his family deeply and had a gift for making everyone feel cared for. He never missed a family event or important tradition that brought everyone together.
For 44 dedicated years, Perry worked for Life of Georgia, where his commitment and work ethic reflected the dependable character that those closest to him knew so well. Outside of work, you could always find Perry cheering on the Atlanta Braves or Georgia Bulldogs and listening to Elvis Presley. He loved traveling to one of his favorite places, Panama City Beach, with his mom, family, or even on solo trips. Anyone who ever visited Six Flags with Perry knew one thing for certain: if there was a game to be won, he was going to win it. His wit and one-liners will be said and passed down to generations to come.
Perry is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Bobbie Jean Robinson. He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Ridgway (Billy) and Karen Goss (Tony); his nieces and nephews, Kathy Blake (Scott), Kurt Ridgway, Laura Norton (Derek), and Leslie Quilico (Steve); his great-nieces and nephews, Lindsey (Bo), Montgomery, Garrison, Mallory, Andee, Maebelle, Samantha, West, and Jack; and his great-great-nieces, Scottie and Noa.
A celebration of Perry's life will be held at 10:00 AM on July 2 at Powder Springs City Cemetery in Powder Springs, GA, with Pastor Leslie Quilico officiating.
Perry's kindness, loyalty, and quiet devotion will be deeply missed, but the stories, traditions, and love he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Christian Appalachian Project at https://www.christianapp.org/, or cheer a little louder for the Braves.
