Patsy Clarice Wilson's Obituary
Patsy Clarice Glore Wilson, age 81, of Mableton, Ga., passed away March 9, 2024. Pat was born to Lloyd and Faye Glore on January 1, 1943. Pat was a 1960 graduate of South Cobb High School. In 1960, Pat married the love of her life Hiram “Buck” Wilson. Pat and Buck celebrated 64 years of marriage on March 4, 2024. Their marriage was a testament to their love, commitment, dedication, and unwavering support for one another.
Pat was a loving and selfless matriarch for her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was always present and available to love, guide and comfort her family. Pat’s greatest pleasure was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
Pat and Buck never stopped travelling, whether it was on a motorcycle road trip in the mountains or one of Pat’s favorite travels to Biloxi for a little casino action. Oh, how she loved those slot machines. Every time she went, she would giggle like a little girl as if it was her first time.
When at home in Mableton, Pat and Buck were always on the go, visiting friends and meeting new ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Judson Glore and Alice Faye Harbin; grandparents, Ambrose Truman Glore and Erie Clarice Gann. Pat was named after her grandmother.
Pat is survived by her husband, Buck Wilson of Mableton, GA; son, Hal Wilson, daughter-in-law, Cissy Wilson of Marietta, GA; grandson Hank Wilson (wife: Shoko); great grandchildren, Mio and Niko, of Brooklyn, NY; brother, Jerry Glore (Vicki) of Smyrna, GA; sister, Beverly Jane Dobbs of Powder Springs, GA; brother, Larry Glore (Judy) of Hiram, GA; and many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to extend their warmest appreciation to the caregivers at Agape Hospice Care and many others who gave of their time and love to Pat during her illness.
