Patsy Cole Lamb's Obituary
Patricia (Patsy) Cole Lamb, 73, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at her home in Columbus, GA. A celebration of her life will take place at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory in Austell, GA on November 2, 2025, at 3 PM.
Born on November 28, 1951 in Powder Springs, GA, Patsy was the beloved wife of 55 years to Gary W. Lamb of Hiram, GA. She lived a joyful life of family and friends as a devoted wife and loving mother to her three children, Patrick, Matt and Beth. She had a few jobs in her life among them working in the lunch room of Hiram Elementary School as well as in the office of the Ignatius House in Atlanta. But it was in her role as wife and mother where she had the most pride and passion.
One of four daughters of Fred and Eva Cole of Powder Springs, GA, Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Lamb. Patsy is survived by her husband, Gary, her children Matthew and Beth (Tiffanie), her grandchildren, Shea (Emily) and Kelsey and her great-grandchildren, Cole, Riley, Kayson, Kamden and Makynzlee, her three sisters, Ann Morris, Janie Cole Newton and Cindy Lamb. She will be remembered for her fun nature, humor and wit. Her sparkling blue eyes shined love and compassion as she touched the hearts of almost everyone who knew her.
Patsy enjoyed cooking for and with her kids and grandkids, playing cards with her friends and trips with her husband and dog (Sullie) in their RV. She fought brave and hard against the cancer that stole her from us too soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the family to assist with funeral cost or in her name to the charity of your choice. (Please speak to Suzanne Newton Phillips or Jaime Roberts Powell for details.)
Friends and family are invited to Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory in Austell, GA on November 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends before the service from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
