Patrick Edward Key's Obituary
Patrick Edward Key, age 53 of Marietta passed away December 25, 2020 after a 41-day battle in the ICU with Covid-19.
Patrick was a Cobb County Elementary Art teacher for 23 years.
He was also a Continuing Education Summer Camp instructor at Kennesaw State University for 20 years.
Patrick was a life-long lover of all things comic books, science fiction, Star Wars and Manga. He had a great sense of humor and was very well loved by all who knew him.
Patrick was preceded in the death by his mother, Patricia Key Bales.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Priscella Key; father, Roy (Lois) Key of Canton; sister, Tracie Key Welch of Young Harris; niece, Heather Welch of Young Harris; Aunt, Janice Parmer of Young Harris; Uncle, David Key of Nashville; Uncle, Barry Key of Lagrange. He is also survived by his beloved pets, Mable, Benny, and Baylen.
Private Family Funeral Services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date once it is safe for everyone to attend.
Patrick felt passionate about wearing masks during the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, please buy and wear a mask to protect others and yourself in honor of him.
