Patricia Pierce's Obituary
PATRICIA “Pat” PIERCE, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday at her home in Atlanta. She was beloved by family, friends and co-workers and by the customers she served at many local restaurants. Over the years Pat worked at TGI Fridays, Bonz, Howards Restaurant, Sal Grosso, Bella’s Pizzeria and Waffle House.
A graduate of Central High School in Chattanooga Tennessee, Pat played softball during school and worked as a lifeguard at Hamilton County Park. She loved NASCAR, sports, poker and going to the casino. Many at local bingo halls will remember her distinctive “Bingo!” call and the fact that she usually won at least one game per session, which caused an audible grumbling when she entered the hall.
“Lucky Pat” as she liked to be known, passed away painlessly, we hope, and was spared the pain and suffering often associated with death.
She is survived by her sister, Lee Pierce, and her brother, Hal Pierce, both of Atlanta.
A kind soul Pat always had a smile on her face and was kind to everyone she met. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 19, 3:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM before the service.
