Patricia "Patsy" Miller Cole's Obituary
Patricia "Patsy" Miller Cole, age 70, of Smyrna, GA went to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 30, 2023.
Patsy was born July 23, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to her loving parents, Curtis and Verlie Miller. She grew up in Mableton and graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 1971.
She was a loving Christian, and was known for her joyful personality, laughter, love for youth, comforting and encouraging others, and always singing about “what a friend she had in Jesus.”
Pasty worked as the Director of Youth Activities at Mount Harmony Baptist Church for 12 years, retiring in 1988. She loved Jesus, her family, her “girlfriends,” Acteens, singing, and playing piano. She was very creative and loved crafting, calligraphy work, and design.
In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her brother, Ted Miller.
She is survived by her husband James “Donny” Cole; her children Zachary Cole and Zoie Prince; daughter-in-law Bonnie Cole; son-in-law Daniel Prince; grandchildren Cade and Knox Cole; Isaac, Eliza, Micah, Lydia, and Luke Prince.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel in Austell, GA with Pastors Derek Watson and Zack Cole officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
May her memory always be that of a loving and joyful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and one who pointed other’s to Jesus Christ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patsy’s name to Suwanee Station Family Life Church, 1414 Park Commons Square, Swanee, Georgia 30024.
