Patricia Coppola's Obituary
On a warm summer day, July 2, 2025, the world said goodbye to a remarkable soul, Patricia (“Meemaw”) Miles Coppola , who peacefully passed away at the age of 89 in her cherished home of Smyrna, GA. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. Burial will be at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survived by daughter, Melonie Coppola, Smyrna, GA; son, Barry Coppola (Kathy), Marietta, GA; brothers, John A. Miles, Powder Springs, GA, Tim A. Miles, Mableton, GA; six grandchildren, Nicholas Coppola, Melinda Coppola Boller (John), Melissa Deputy (Stephen), Christy Coppola Crook (Scott), Candice Coppola Ridgway (Jeremy), Matthew Coppola (Keshia); eight great grandchildren, Ophelia, Oliver, Andrew, Alex, Maddie, Lily, Wrenley, Ethan, and several nieces and nephews.
Patricia lived a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She was a beacon of light to many and spread love and kindness wherever she went. Her unwavering belief in the power of family and strength of God was evident in every aspect of her life. Married to the love of her life, Ernest Luke Coppola, until his passing, Patricia found her greatest joy and fulfillment in the life they built together.
The family will receive friends on July 7th, Monday evening, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, 1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106.
