Patricia Elaine Barnett's Obituary
Patricia Elaine Allen Barnett, of Austell, GA, went home to be with her Lord on June 6, 2026, following a long health battle. Born in Black Mountain, NC, she graduated from Charles D. Owen High School. She was married to Glenn Jerald Barnett, who preceded her in death in August 2000.
Patricia loved the Lord, her family, and people. For more than 50 years, she was a faithful member of Hurt Road Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir, hosted Bible studies, and opened her home to the youth. She had a heart for women and walked alongside many through life’s seasons. She also gave back to her community by crocheting mats for those without a place to call home. No matter who came through her door, they left with a full stomach and a lighter heart.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Alan Barnett (Patty) of Powder Springs, GA, and Cinnamon Ann Callihan of Austell, GA; her grandchildren, Kristopher Jordan Barnett, Mindy Lane Alexander, Katee Michelle McFalls, Kenneth Taylor Barnett, Tiffani Nichole Lee, Michael Andrew Callihan, Kari Lauren Munoz, Jeramy Kyle Brock, and Mackenzie Lee Norment; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory, 1975 East-West Connector, Austell, GA 30106. The funeral service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM. A family burial will follow.
