Red, what a true friend you are. God gave me a special gift when I was introduced to you and your family. God also allowed me one last visit the day before you passed away, and what a visit it was. I will miss all the trips we made. Every time you got into the car, it was he same thing; "do I have to ride in this piece of junk?" And always my answer was, "no Red. you can walk." Then I would hear that funny laugh of yours. In all the years we never had a bad word between us. You were there when we lost both my parents. I asked you to say a prayer around the hospital bed after my father died. Thank you for that, and preaching at both funerals. You and I both said we married better than we deserved. One of the last things you told me was that you loved all your kids, but you were ready to be with momma. God has answered your prayer to be with Lois again, and I am glad for that. Even though I am not a family member, you made me feel like I was. Thanks for the memories, say hello to mom and dad and I will see you later.##imported-begin##Jimmy Cox##imported-end##
