Pamela McClung Long's Obituary
Pamela Kay McClung Long, born in Fort Payne, Alabama March 27, 1954, passed away on August 10th at WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, Georgia. She is preceeded in death by her mother Louise, father BG, and brother Frankie, and survived by her husband Barry, sons Kevin (wife Megan) and David, sister Robin (husband John), and grandchildren Claire and Rhys, stepfather James (wife Glenda) and seven nieces and nephews.
Pam, a member of Mabelton First Baptist Church, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, a great Christian and a spectacular cook. Her love, wit, and wisdom were only matched by her desire to always help everyone who crossed her path. She saw the best in everyone and her warmth could be felt near and far. She truly touched everyone she ever met and will continue to do so for generations to come. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 13, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow the service at Walker Chapel Cemetery, Fort Payne, AL. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
