Neal Marion Evans' Obituary
Neal Marion Evans, age 86, of Austell passed away February 15, 2026.
Neal was born to Paul Brown Evans and Christine Butler Evans in Austell. After graduating from South Cobb High School in 1958, Neal went on to serve our country in the U.S. Army for three years. Upon returning from the Army, Neal was hired on with the United States Postal Service and served as a rural mail carrier for 30 years.
Neal was a beloved member of Austell Christian Church, and he loved helping the church in any capacity he could.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Christine Evans.
Neal is survived by his wife of 61 years, Debbie Jean Evans; children, Dan Evans of Attalla, AL and Felicia Dejesus of Guntersville, AL; and beloved extended family and friends.
A funeral service honoring Neal’s life will be held Wednesday, February 18, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Clay Henry officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 to 1:00 PM before the service.
