Nancy McGhin Stewart's Obituary
Nancy McGhin Stewart was born on May 18, 1953. She was a teacher and a homemaker. She was also President of The Dance Factory Show Troupe Parent’s Association for almost 25 years. She dedicated her life to supporting and giving to others and tirelessly helping children in their formative years through her leadership as President of the Dance Factory Show Troupe Parent’s Association. She was a beloved wife, mother and friend. She passed away on May 12, 2016 at the age of 62. As a giving spirit and selfless hero, she will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Terry Michael Stewart, her daughters Terri Ryan Stewart and Lindsay Catherine McCormick and her granddaughter Madison Leigh Stewart.
The memorial service for Nancy McGhin Stewart will be held at Northside United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A reception and celebration of life will immediately follow at The Dance Factory.
As a reflection of her giving spirit, a dance scholarship for children has been established in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Ms. Nancy Dance Scholarship Fund care of The Dance Factory Show Troupe Parent’s Association.
