Montee Carroll's Obituary
Mrs. Montee Heath Carroll, of Powder Springs, passed away September 15, 2013 at the age of 95. For 31 years Mrs. Carroll was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker whose hobbies included her family and working.
Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her husband, Dewitt Carroll; sisters, Latha Denton and Inez Aiken, and her great-great-granddaughter, Emaleigh Grace DeVaney. She is survived by her children: Genelle & Julian Jones of Powder Springs, Gerald & Frances Carroll of Powder Springs, Kenneth & Doris Carroll of Powder Springs, Larry & Shirley Carroll of Acworth; twelve (12) grandchildren; twenty (20) great-grandchildren; and six (6) great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4 until 8 PM. The funeral service to honor her life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bobby Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
