Mildred Gaydon Smith's Obituary
Mildred Gaydon Smith, age 98 of Austell passed away September 6, 2024.
Mildred was a longtime member of Floyd Road Baptist Church. She worked for Bellsouth for many years, where she was a switchboard operator and later retired in customer service.
Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lamar Smith and son, Greg Smith.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby; sisters, Lucille, Gladys, and Doris.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Jean Gaydon; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 1:00 PM with Brother Keith Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service.
