Michael "Mike" Vincent Nagle's Obituary
Michael Vincent Nagle (Mike), age 68 of Smyrna passed away June 21, 2024.
He was a native of Abbeyside, Dungarvan Co. Waterford, Ireland. Mike graduated from University College Cork as an electrical engineer. After graduation, he traveled the world as a field engineer for General Electric, Schenectady, NY.
He continued his career as a technical turbine engineer for Chromalloy, Orangeburg New York, traveling and working mainly in the Middle East and South America. Mike moved to Atlanta to set up and operate the national headquarters for Wichmann USA, headquartered in Germany.
He left Wichmann to start and operate multiple Pirtek locations in the greater Atlanta area.
Mike enjoyed fly fishing, classical music, the beach, and especially helping Boy Scouts Troop 1 in Vinings, GA. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mike is survived by Eta, Brendan, Tori, Maeve, Eva, James, Pierce; brother, Colm; sisters, Raedeen, Marion and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at
Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends for visitation prior to the service Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
