Merle Elizabeth Hearing's Obituary
Merle Elizabeth Hearing, age 74 of Austell passed away June 24, 2020.
Merle had a great sense of humor and had an incredible green thumb. She also loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Hearing.
Merle is survived by her daughter, Trina Dukes; daughter, Stacey Adams; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Shelley Hearing; daughter, Audrey Williamson; brother and sister-in-law, Mitchell and Brenda Dukes.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Samuel Cook, Kelley Long, Hunter Neal, Skyler Williamson, Savannah Garner, Chandler Hearing; great-grandchildren, MaKayla Cook and Zachary Cook; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Collett officiating. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM prior to the service.
In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local women’s shelter of your choice.
