Melvin Curtis Mann's Obituary
Melvin Curtis Mann, Jr., age 79 of Powder Springs, passed away January 19, 2012. He was retired from Lockheed after 38 years, was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, an avid hunter, and involved with Youth Baseball in Austell. Mr. Mann was a devoted family man and is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorene Mann; son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Jean Mann of Dallas; daughter & son-in-law, Sheila & Steve Bryant of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Melissa & Scott Maycumber, Kristin & Jamie Rose, Steve & Sandy Bryant, and Brandon Bryant; great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily, Brilee, & Brady Bryant, Aidan & Lexi Rose, Bryson & Bailey Maycumber; brother & sister-in-law, William & Glenda Mann of Mableton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev.
