Max Thomas Hardie's Obituary
Our beloved husband and father, Max Thomas Hardie age 82 of Powder Springs, is now in the presence of Jesus. He went to his eternal home on January 27, 2019. Max was a long-time member of Mableton First Baptist Church and served as a Deacon since 1970. He became a member of the South Cobb Lions Club in 1974. Max retired from Wallace Computer Services after 29 years.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa Gorham. Max is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anita Hardie; daughter, Angela (Jerry) Watkins; son, Clinton (Dawn) Hardie; son, Brian (Kerry) Hardie; grandchildren, Trey (Stephanie) Watkins; Tyler (L.B.) Watkins; Ashley Hardie; Alex (Emily) Hardie; Whitney (Tyler) Arthur; Kathleen (Win) Griffith; Sam Hardie; Nathan Hardie; Ellen Grace Watkins; 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 12:00 PM at Mableton First Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Byrd and Rev. Clint Miller officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mableton First Baptist Church or South Cobb Lions Club.
