Mary Ella Gardner's Obituary
Mrs. Mary Ella Gardner, age 81 of Mableton, passed away March 28, 2011. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. She retired from the US Postal Service and volunteered for 35 years at the American Cancer Society, South Cobb Unit. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Gardner; sons (& daughters-in-law,) Tom (Pat) Little, Richard “Buster” Little, Roger (Debie) Little, Pete (Rosalee) Little, Randall (Ronda) Little, Dale Gardner, and Greg (Genva) Gardner; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dick Kennedy; sisters, Jean Acklin, Joyce (Gold) Hamilton, and Bobbie Osburn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randal Whitten and Rev. Mac McCutcheon officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Harmony Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
