Mary Walters' Obituary
Mrs. Mary Walters of Marietta, passed away January 20, 2013 at the age of 90. Mary was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church in Marietta. She was retired from Singer Company where she had worked as a bookkeeper. Mary loved to cook and was a good housekeeper, too. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved animals, especially her cats.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Lynn Walters and June Walters, both of Marietta; step-daughter, Martha Love of Jackson, Mississippi; sister, Ellen Diantoni of Anaheim, California, and 4 step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM. The funeral service to honor Mary's life will be held at Davis-Struempf Chapel on Wednesday, January 23. 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
