Martha Henderson Sanders' Obituary
Martha Louise Henderson Sanders, age 88 of Austell passed away January 18, 2018. Martha was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, Flint Hill Road, Austell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edward Sanders; brothers, Lewis Henderson, James Henderson, Berry Henderson, Carlos Henderson; sisters, Hazel Smith and Mary Crowder.
Martha is survived by daughters, Wanda (Wayne) Dodd of Austell, Myra (Mike) Woods of Powder Springs; son, Alan (Jennifer) Sanders of Blairsville; grandchildren, Tony (Dana) Dodd, Chris (Maribeth) Dodd, Kelvin (Delaney) Dodd, Candace (Sam) Adams, Mary Lynn (Micah) Dalton, Micah Joe Woods, Catherine Sanders, Claire Sanders, Caleb Sanders, Caroline Sanders; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Sullivan.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM, lie in state from 1:00-2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Rorie, Rev. Mike Woods, and Rev. Chris Humphries officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00-6:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
