Martha Maglean Oglesby's Obituary
Martha Maglean Oglesby, age 95, of Powder Springs died peacefully on February 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walker Dean Oglesby and grandson Michael Dean Oglesby.
Maglean was a member of Powder Springs First United Methodist Church for over 60 years. She was employed at Coats and Clark for 30 years and was a lifelong resident of Powder Springs.
She is survived by sister, Flora Wilkerson of Mableton; daughter, Doris Landrum of Marietta; son, Harold Dean Oglesby (Carolyn) of Temple; grandchildren, Wesley Landrum (Martha) of Charlotte, NC, Lisa Dickson (Rich) of Carol Stream, IL, Rebecca Martin (Jeff) of Chattanooga, TN, Pam Ramsey (Butch) of Tallapoosa, GA and Angie Noel (Kin) of Douglasville; 10 Great- Grandchildren and 11 Great- Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Chapel with Rev. Roger Vest officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Powder Springs First United Methodist Church online at powderspringsfumc.org
