Mark Edward Watts' Obituary
Mark Edward Watts, age 52, of Douglasville passed away March 9, 2020. Mark was a graduate of Douglas County High School, Class of 1986, where he was an exceptional football player. He also displayed his sportsmanship by being a well-known coach in the softball community.
Mark will be remembered for this sense of humor and his love of playing pranks, but also by his love for his family and being a person you can rely on. He was always Carolyn’s “favorite”.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Hubert. He is survived by his wife, Cretes; children, Shala, Courtney, Jacy, and Timothy; mother, Carolyn; sisters, Malinda and Marla; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 PM before the service.
Flowers are accepted, or in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Mark’s name for further brain cancer research to the American Brain Tumor Association at abta.org.
