Mark Steven Seagle Sr.'s Obituary
Mark Steven Seagle Sr., age 60, of Douglasville, GA, went to Heaven on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 11:30 pm after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from McEachern High School. He was survived by his wife, Diana Jane Seagle, and his children, Mark Steven Seagle Jr, Gabriel Seagle, Jeremy Seagle, and Misty Lee Campbell and his grandchildren, Aiden Seagle, Grayson Garcia, Breanna Seagle, Trey Seagle, and Katie Seagle. Mark was also survived by four sisters, Joie Chambers, Tillie Correll, Paula Carden, Gloria Morgan, and one brother, Jimmy Seagle.
Mark spent the majority of his time working at Gwinnett Asphalt where he achieved the rank of General Manager. He took much pride and joy in his work and always made sure that his employees worked hard, were safe and had a smile on their faces. Apart from his long career, Big Mark loved collecting antiques, guns, old cars & trucks, coins, sports (especially wrestling, fighting (the UFC), and football (he was an Atlanta Falcons superfan) and saving money. He lived for his family and wanted to be the best father and husband possible.
His funeral will be held on Friday, March 12th, 2021 at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home & Crematory located at 1975 East-West Connector, Austell, Georgia 30136. There will be a viewing at 12:00 pm and the service will promptly start after, at 1:00 pm.
Anyone wishing to view the service virtually may do so via a livestream video that will appear on Mark’s tribute page during the listed service time. In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
