Marion L. Puckett's Obituary
Marion L. Puckett, age 79 of Austell passed away May 22, 2014. He was a member of Clarkdale First Baptist Church and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Marion retired from the U.S. Postal Service as Supervisor of Postal Operations in Powder Springs and enjoyed wood working. He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Ann Puckett. Marion is Survived by his wife, Dorothy Laney Stephens Puckett of Austell; children, Michelle Puckett of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeff Stephens of Canton, Georgia and Rev. Barry Stephens of Ft. Worth, Texas; several grandchildren; three great grand children; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, 2:00 PM at Davis- Struempf Funeral Home with Dr. Marvin Frady, Rev. Barry Stephens, and Rev. Wayne Grier officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery Rockmart, GA. The family invites friends to join them at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00-7:00 PM for fellowship and reflection.
