To Maria's family: We have been neighbors of Maria's on Karen Drive in Gardiner for many years. We have thought fondly of her each time we drove by her house and hoped she was well. So sorry to hear of her passing. She was always so friendly, gracious and ready with a smile. She loved to see our grandson go by on his bike and would always say hello to him and tell him that she loved him! We will miss her. Rest in peace finally. Your strengh and incredible courage will be a source of inspiration to all of us that were privledged to see the road you paved for us. My dearest mom, you have taught us comassion and above all forgiveness, as your road was filled with so much pain, you rose above hatered, self pity and resentment. Instead you were filled with the enourmous capacity to rise to each occasion to help those who were in need. I will strive to follow your legacy and i will always remember how much you loved all of us and how much we all loved you.
