Margie Smith Rogers' Obituary
Margie Smith Rogers, age 99 of Austell passed away March 2, 2021. Margie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and retired from Muse’s Department Store.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, William E. “Bill” Rogers; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and John Mayes of Atlanta; grandchildren, Dalton and Carolina Mayes.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Rorie and Rev. Chris Noggle officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00AM-12:30 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
In keeping with current precautions due to COVID-19, we are requesting that anyone visiting wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Margie’s name to Calvary Baptist Church, 4780 Flint Hill Rd SW, Austell, GA 30106.
