Margaret Louise Wires Yarborough's Obituary
Margaret Louise Wires Yarborough, 92 of Austell, Georgia, fell asleep in death on February 1, 2023 at Tranquility Hospice, Austell, Georgia.
She was born in Dora, Alabama on August 7, 1930. She married James Edgar Yarborough on October 6, 1950 and bore their first child one year later which began the family legacy, bearing three additional children.
She was employed most of her life as a commercial seamstress and retired at age 65 from Riverside Manufacturing in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a breast cancer survivor. She spent many years as a volunteer for MUST Ministries in Austell, Georgia, where she assisted in food distribution to the less fortunate. She also spent time at the Ronald McDonald House and Childrens’s Heathcare of Atlanta supporting childhood cancer.
She is survived by her children, Denise Rutland of Mableton, Georgia; Jeff Yarborough of Cumming, Georgia; Brad Yarborough of Covington, Georgia, and Jody Yarborough of Greeneville Tennessee.
She has two living grandchildren, Jessica Evans and Tyler Yarborough of Johnson City, Tennessee. She experienced the loss of her third grandchild, Bradley Hilderbrand to childhood cancer in 1998 as well as the loss of McKenzie Yarborough in 2021.
She is survived by her siblings, Emmer Tyrell of Sumiton, Alabama, Helen Hallmark of Warrior, Alabama, and Fred Wires of Dora, Alabama.
A funeral procession will be gathered at 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Davis Struempf Funeral Home, 1975 East-West Connector, Austell, Georgia. There will be no visitation or viewing, but rather a graveside only service at 2:00 PM, Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens, Mableton, Georgia.
