Margaret Kempson Steinway's Obituary
Margaret Steinway, 89, of Mableton, Georgia, died Sunday, January 26, after five years of Alzheimer's struggle.
Margaret was born in Bradenton, Florida in 1935. She attended school in West End, Atlanta. She married Leslie Steinway of Atlanta in 1956.
After working for AT&T, Margaret settled down to being a mother and homemaker and enjoyed volunteering at her Methodist church where she was also active in the Women's Christian Fellowship organization. She also worked with greeting card and gift distribution and with bookkeeping assistance.
She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Kohler of Villa Rica and Susan Steinway of Mableton, grandchildren Brian Kohler and Becky Davis; and great-grandchildren Cody, Clark, Sawyer, and Miley Davis and Faith Fuller.
Viewing will be Tuesday, January 28 from 4-8 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home on the East-West Connector in Austell. Funeral will be held at Leland Qwest Methodist Church, Wednesday January 29 at 2:00 PM. 81 Veteran's Memorial Parkway, Mableton, GA. The family will receive friends at the church before the service from 1-2 PM. Interment will follow the service at Westview Cemetery.
