Mrs. Maggie Jo Bennett Bills,age 89 of Mableton, passed away August 7, 2011. Jo was a member of the First Christian Church of Mableton and of the Quilting Guild. She is survived by her sons, Harry Bills, Jr. of Auburn, GA, Richard Read Obituary

She was such a vital part of our quilting guild and my husband looked forward to her calls as much or more than I did. She would always take time to spend a little telephone time with him. Jo was my fathers, JB Bennett, older sister and my Aunt. I will always remember when my family would go to Georgia for vacation each year and I would get to spend a little time with Aunt Jo. Mama died peacefully last night and fought right until the end. I am proud to have been the one holding her hand and soothing her as she passed on. I am so blessed to have had 19 amazing years with her as my great-grandmother. The amazing relationship we had will always be in my heart.
