Maggie Joyce Faircloth's Obituary
Maggie Joyce Faircloth, age 87, of Dallas passed away October 20, 2020. Maggie was an avid reader and music-lover. She enjoyed baking and canning, and her pound cakes and red velvet cakes were crowd-favorites. While at AG Rhodes, Maggie liked attending the Horticulture Club and Music Therapy. In her younger years, she also enjoyed traveling, especially going to the mountains. She used to have a home in Ellijay where she loved to go to relax.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alton Faircloth. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Faircloth of Jasper; grandchildren, Anthony Austin (wife, Perri) and Nicole Austin; and great-grandchildren, Jacob and Brian Austin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24th, 10:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
