Macy H. Cooley's Obituary
Macy H. Cooley, age 70, of Dallas passed away September 10, 2024.
Macy was born in Commerce, GA to the late Leonard Harrison and Annie Small Harrison. She was a member of The Refuge Church in Hiram. Family was most important to thing to Macy, and she adored spending time with her grandkids.
Macy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise Jones; husband, John D. Cooley; son, Jimmy Joe Cooley, Sr; and grandson, Leonard Harry Cooley.
She is survived by her sister, Jettie Jones; grandchildren, Jimmy Joe Cooley, Jr., Justin Cooley, Hailey Cooley, Tyson Cooley, and Hunter Cooley; and many beloved extended family members.
A funeral service honoring Mrs. Cooley’s life will be held Tuesday, September 17th, 12:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Henry Swofford officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home.
