Mable Duke's Obituary
Mable Qumy Duke, age 89 of Marietta, passed away June 1, 2019. Mable was a member of The Eastern Star and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Her hobbies included working in the garden, playing guitar, and singing.
Mable was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Harvie Lee Duke and daughter, Bette Diane Duke.
Mable is survived by daughters, Patricia Ann Stripling; Peggy June Buescher (Rick); sons, Harvie Tyrone Duke (Gaye); Danny Edward Duke (Susan); grandchildren, Tanya Stripling, Kellie Brown (David), Kim McLeod, Jennifer Lowman, Shaun Buescher, Ryan Buescher.
She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Chamblee officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
