L.V. Willoughby's Obituary
Mr. Lidge Vernon “L.V.” Willoughby, age 92 of Austell, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009. He was a member of Davis Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Simmons Bedding Company. Mr. Willoughby is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Willoughby; daughter, Barbara Jean Crawford; son, Pewee Willoughby; grandson, Buster Willoughby, Jr. and grandson-in-law, Sean Crone.
He is survived by his children: Marilyn Brown of Garfield, GA, Ronald E. Willoughby of Dallas, Billy V. Willoughby, Sr. of Powder Springs, Harris B. Willoughby, Sr. of Hiram,
Dennis Lee Willoughby of Temple, Randall Zack Willoughby of Austell, Anthony “Tony” S. Willoughby of Douglasville. Sisters: Lauretta McKinney of Austell, Annie Mae Long of Austell, Sara Pitts o f Austell. Brothers: Bobby Willoughby of Hiram, Charles Willoughby of Powder Springs, Jay Willoughby of Powder Springs, 23 Grandchildren, 25 Great grandchildren, and several Great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Davis-Struempf Chapel with Rev. Bennie Long officiating. Interment will follow at Davis Chapel Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday 4 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
