I will always think of Luis as a very happy kind of guy. We first met over 25 yrs ago. As I am married to Carmen's cousin. I remember being at their wedding and thinking how happy they looked and how they were meant for each other because they were always smiling and in great happy moods. I am sadden for his passing. My heart goes out to Carmen and Marcus and the entire Saladin family. I pray the Angels escort him to Heaven's gate and our merciful dear Lord welcome him home with open arms. I knew Mr. Saladin from 389. He was so nice, I really enjoyed working with him. My thoughts are with the Saladin family.
One word to describe Mr. Saladin would be PASSION: passion for his career and most importantly passion for his family. It was ALWAYS a pleasure to visit Mr. Saladin in his stores. He always gave me great professional advice and was so hospitable when in his company. He'll be GREATLY missed and I'm so blessed I had the opportunity of knowing him. I will always smile when I think of Luis. No one called me Mama like he did. He liked to growl but he had no bite. When it came to Marcus and Carmen he was just a big softy.
