Mrs. Louise Lavender, age 76 of Douglasville, passed away September 13, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of Foundation Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Cherie Holland of Douglasville; sons, Daniel Lavender of Read Obituary

Dear Aunt Lou,
You will be sadly missed by all of us up here in Michigan. My fondest memories are coming down to see you in Florida and picking up sea shells along the coast with Uncle Donald while you were back at the house making sure we were all fed!!!! I will miss you dearly and no words can express how I feel right now.... When I heard the news about your passing my heart just dropped to the floor and I said now you can be reunited with your husband at last. I am glad that you did not suffer long. I am so glad that my Emma was able to meet the best Great Aunt and Uncle in the whole world. Even though we were a distance about our hearts were not. My heart goes out to you all. We have so many fond memories of her.
