So sorry to hear this news about Mrs. Blackwell. Learning about Mrs. Blackwell passing brings back a flood of good memories. My earliest childhood memories are of the Blackwell family and what great friends and neighbors they were. Mrs. Blackwell was a second mother to me as a five year old (and younger). Many times I remember running to the Blackwell's when I was scared or needed help. My fondest memories are of course with Susie and just playing with my best friend. Mr. Blackwell getting me out of the tree by the creek because I was too scared to climb down. All the pets, Traveler, (the squirrel). Fun at Christmas time, bubble fountains on the Blackwell's Christmas tree. (we didn't have those) O'neil. So many good memories. I often think and wonder how the family is doing. Sorry to get carried away with the family memories. Mrs.Blackwell, and Mr. Blackwell were good friends to the Garner family for many many years. Even though we did not have contact for many years her passing will leave an empty place in my heart. She was a special lady and I wish the family comfort and good wishes.
