Lorrie Daphene Nantz's Obituary
Lorrie Daphene Nantz, age 69 of Mableton passed away October 12, 2021.
Lorrie enjoyed crocheting many items for her family, especially Afghans and Blankets. She also crocheted special hats as gifts for cancer patients. Lorrie loved collecting Beanie Babies and Barbie Dolls. She also had a green thumb in gardening and her favorite artist was Elvis Presley. Most of all, she loved everything Christmas—lights, music, and decorations.
Lorrie is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson A. Nantz and Mary Nantz; sister, Linda Parke; sister-in-law, Sara Nantz. She is survived by her brothers, Clifford Nantz, Kenneth (Jessie) Nantz, Randy (Teresa) Nantz, Wayne (Kathleen) Nantz; sister, Judy (Carol) Nantz; Aunt, Delma Allen; cousin, Owen Allen; nine nieces and nephews, and many grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18th, at 1pm in the Davis-Struempf Chapel. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home. Interment will follow the funeral service to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.
