Lora Pearson's Obituary
Lora Pearson, age 84 of Douglasville passed away July 31, 2015. She was Life Patron of The National Memorial Day Association of Georgia, (Marietta National Cemetery). She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Pearson. Survived by sisters, Bert Caudle of Millersville, Maryland; Diane Vandewater of Douglasville; Gloria Palmer of Liburn; brothers, M.H. “Bud” Whiting (Anne) of Conway, South Carolina; Charles (Paula) Whiting, Jr. of Austell; and her beloved and faithful dog, Angel; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at Marietta National Cemetery with Pastor Sam Ball officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Memorial Day Association of Georgia P.O. Box 4561 Marietta, GA 30061. Arrangements are with Davis- Struempf Funeral Home, Austell.
