Lonnie Lovern Mewborn's Obituary
Lonnie Lovern Mewborn, age 67, of Austell passed away July 4, 2019. Lonnie worked for Sweetwater Paperboard for 39 years. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Lonnie is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Ray. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mewborn; children, Kevin Mewborn of Iowa, Brandon (Heather) Bolden of Mableton, and Christy (Tommy) Thompson of Cartersville; thirteen grandchildren, Christopher, Lonnie, Kevin, Amber, Justin, Alex, Xander, Chase, Lonnie, Ally, Christopher, Ian, and Eli; several great grandchildren; and siblings, Gearadine (John) Mewborn of Jasper, Linda Mewborn of Adel, Ronnie (Diane) Mewborn of Elijay, and David Mewborn of Jasper. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 8, 1:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Mike Davis officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.
