This message comes from One of Lois's Southernnet/MCI family members. We just found out about her passing today and are all in shock. Lois was always the sweetest most kind persons you could know and work with. When you are in such a small environment like our Provisioning group, you all become like one big family, and I'd like to think that made us all closer.
Lois loved her family- there was never a doubt with that. She loved her some W.L. When he got ill with heart issues, she had us all on our knees praying for his safe recovery and improved health. We were around when Derrick and Shannon got married, had the two grand's and even when Curt got married- We all lived through each others experiences and looked forward to hearing adventures over the weekend upon our arrival at work on Mondays.
When provisioning was deployed to Sacramento, Dallas, Maryland , and in Lois's case her new venture with BT in 1996, we still pretty much kept in touch. Lois was instrumental in setting up prayer circles when my daughter Kelli was diagnosed with a rare condition in 1992. She always asked about Kelli, and kept her in prayer- she was very compassionate.
The last time she and I spoke, she shared with me a battle she was having with an old enemy. She seemed to be winning- and apparently won a very long time. I lost touch with her over the last 3 years- and so it comes as a horrible Shock to find that our dear friend is no longer with us. Please know Edison family that we share in your grief- Our thoughts and prayers are with you- God Bless and Keep you all, and know that you are in our hearts.
