Linda Joan Watts' Obituary
Linda Joan Watts, age 71, of Smyrna passed away July 2, 2021 after a battle with cancer. Joan was a long-time member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church and was currently attending East-West Church. She was a devout Christian and was very active in her church community; whether it was lending her beautiful singing voice to the choir or dressing up as a clown for church functions. In her free time, Joan loved to do crafts and cross-stitch. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit and infectious laugh that lit up a room.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, William Edwin and Doris Leona Watts; brother, William Joseph Watts; and grandnephew, Brian Hitchcock. She is survived by her siblings, Janet Hitchcock of Lilburn, James (wife, Karen) Watts of Austell, and John (wife, Sandra) Watts of Austell; nieces, Brooke Manning and Connie Craig; nephews, James Karwich, Elijah Karwich, Kenneth Craig, Matthew Craig, Stephen Craig, Thomas Craig, Dylan Manning, and Brayden Manning; cousin, Jeannene Rutherford; and many beloved extended family members.
