Linda Joyce Mealor's Obituary
Linda Joyce Mealor, age 72 of Mableton passed away July 9, 2024.
Linda graduated from Georgia State University where she studied History. She was a creative soul who found joy in reading and knitting. One of her favorite things to do was gardening. She had a green thumb and loved to plant azaleas, crepe myrtle, lilies, and irises. Linda was a very generous and kind person, who was willing to go out of her way for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Mealor, Sr. and Lorence Frances Mealor; sister, Melanie Lynn Mealor; and brother, William Joseph Mealor, Jr.
She is survived by her sisters, Susan Kent and Jo Ann Johnson; nephew, Joseph (Hope) Kyle Mealor; and grand-nephew, Ryker Joseph Mealor.
A graveside service honoring Linda’s life will be held on Monday, July 15th 11:00 AM at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks any donations be made in Linda's honor to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, secure.nationalmssociety.org.
