Lillian McDaniel's Obituary
McDaniel, Mrs. Lillian Starnes McDaniel, age 81, of Mableton, passed away September 17, 2010. Lil was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, member of the Faith Sunday School Class and former member of the choir. She retired from C&S Bank in 1991. She was a member of Alpha Lambda Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Service Sorority. Lil was a social butterfly! She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and George Walker of Douglasville; son Steve McDaniel of Mableton; grandson, Jake Walker; sister, Dolores S. Wigington of Douglasville; and her faithful dog Heidi. Funeral services will be held Monday, 4:00 PM, at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with Dr. Randal Whitten officiating. Internment will follow at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 - 6 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home and Crematory. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.
