Lewis Fain age 72 of Powder Springs passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He retired from Stasco Mechanical Contractors. Lewis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Thelma Ray Fain; children, Danny & Daisy Fain of Canton, Clay Fain of Read Obituary
I remember every Father's Day or birthday I would always read papas cards to him. It was something I really liked doing and I'm really going to miss hearing him laugh whenever the card was read or whenever it was a sound card and he would just replay the song or noise.

You will be missed by so many. You were a great man. Some of the best memories I have of you was during the holidays when you would try to make everyone laugh. You were always funny to be around, even if we were just sitting in your room watching t.v. I hope when you got to heaven God asked you at the gates, where you been, Buford!?!?" Just wanted to day sorry for each and every one in his family loss. He was a strong man, and fought the battle with strength that most humans can't handle. aunt Thelma take comfort knowing that he not hurting no more. He's home and at peace rejoicing with The Lord, lLOVE YOU ALL PATSY GARNER
Lewis where to begin? I was blessed to have known you for close to thirty years your never ending smile, ability to make people laugh no matter their mood, and how you always thought of others before yourself. I was fortunate enough to meet your daughter Tammy and become part of your family for all these years. You always treated me as if I was one of your sons. you raised your children to the highest moral standard because that was how you lived your life. I never met a person that did not like you. You were the real deal, honest, straight forward, and most of all when people met you they were getting the real Lewis never anything phoney about you. You may have been small in stature but you had the heart of a giant. We will miss you dearly and our hearts ache because we miss you so much but we are blessed with so many great memories to cherish until we all meet up again. Keep them laughing and on their toes up there in heaven until we meet again.

When I use to visit Lewis and Thelma he always had a smile on his face and joking around with me sometimes I would be there visiting when they lived on Austell Road and he would come home from a long day at work and he would not even act like he was tired he would still be joking around with me Lewis was a very hard working man if you didn't have a smile on your face you would sure leave his home with a big smile, his memory will always be in my heart

I cannot express how much emptiness my heart feels without you here on this earth with us any longer. Even though you are no longer physically here with us, we all know that your soul will live on with us eternally. Now that your healed and resting in Heaven with our Lord watching down over us, it makes me thank God that you are no longer in so much physical pain. Just a few of my fondest memories with you would include watching wrestling, having a blast riding around Austell in that big orange van, and you always asking if we'd come from Buford! I miss you so very much Pawpaw, and until we meet again please watch over us and may you rest in peace forever.

Louis was a good man hard working and very kind and loving father , God bless Thelma and family , you will see him again one day because he knew The Lord
Lewis was one of the vest plumbers we have ever had. He was devoted to his job. I think he was with the company for 40+ years. He would always make us laugh. He was the best and we will miss him a great deal. Rest in peace Lewis.
When I think about Lewis Fain, I remember an incredibly strong and determined man whose life I was blessed to help heal so that he and his loving family could have enjoyment, happiness and memories. Lewis' legacy and memories are to be cherished as he watches from heaven. My thoughts, best wishes and prayers go out to the Fain family.
My Daddy's work on Earth is done and Now is with Our Lord and Savior. I wished I had spent more time with Him. I don't know many Men that could had endured all the Pain and Suffering. I got My sense of Humor and Work Ethic from Daddy. As many have mentioned His Humor, makes Me Smile just to read that. You will NEVER be forgotten. I will see You again Daddy.
