Leotine Claire Walker Clackum's Obituary
Leotine Claire Walker Clackum, age 92, of Dallas passed away October 1, 2020. Leotine was a long-time member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She retired after serving years in the medical field. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts such as needlework, reading, cooking, and spending time with her 67 immediate family members.
Leotine is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Warren N. Clackum; daughter, Lynda Reece; parents, James and Annie Walker; and her four siblings.
She is survived by her children, Allene (Lawrence) Bishop of Powder Springs, Frank (Diane) Clackum of Sky Valley, Chris (Gloria) Clackum of Matthews, NC, Terry (Sharon) Clackum of Cumming, , Jeanne (Chris) Whitmarsh of Bremen, Bonnie Langley of Dallas, and Angela Ragsdale of Lithia Springs; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren with one on the way; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 4th, 2:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Hennesy officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/.
