Latrelle M. Spivey's Obituary
Latrelle Spivey, age 83, of Smyrna, GA, formerly of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on June 21, 2017 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Spivey was born on December 11, 1933, in Lax, Georgia to Dock and Myrtice Ricketson Powell. She graduated from Coffee High School in Coffee County, Georgia in 1951. She was retired from the Clayton County School System where she was employed as a bus driver.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 6o years, Orvil Spivey, and her brother, Bobby Powell. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Spivey of Marietta, GA and a daughter Deborah Spivey Medina, also of Smyrna. In addition; a daughter-in-law, Alice Spivey, a son-in-law, Jesse Medina, Jr., and two granddaughters, Juliette Medina Assaf and Aubrey Lin Spivey.
Mrs. Spivey was member of the Connection Pointe Church of God in Austell.
Visitation will be at the Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell, on Friday, June 23, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 24th, at 11:00am.
