Latisha Joyce Charles' Obituary
My Name is Arlene Donovan Collins many of you know me as Latisha’s Aunty
Arlene.
Latisha Joyce Charles affectionately known as “Tisha” was born March 27, 1986 in the State of Maryland to Kelvin Charles and Laverne Arnold. She was the affectionate loving mother of Jayden and Kaliyah.
Latisha spent her early childhood years in Maryland where she attended The Christian Academy School. Later she spent time in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands the birthplace of her parents. There she attended All Saints Anglican School before moving to Georgia at 12 years of age. After graduating from South Cobb High School in 2004, she furthered her education at Chattahoochee Technical College pursuing a degree in Nursing.
Latisha was known to many for her big warm smile, her laugh and her generosity. She was willing to do anything for anyone in need. Latisha was full of life. She loved making sure she was well groomed; her hair, her nails and those eye brows were always intact and it was this passion that peaked her curiosity to pursue a career in a cosmetology. However, her stronger passion was for nursing.
She was a good mother. Her children were her life and she made sure she provided for their total well-being. Her precious memory will be cherished by her two children Jayden and Kaliyah, her mother Laverne Arnold, her Father Kelvin Charles Sr., her siblings, Kelvin Jr., Kareem, Kreisha and K'cem, her very loving companion Kelson (Kelo) Battles, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other dear friends.
We know you are flying with the Angels and singing praises to His Holy Name.
Rest well until we all meet again in the Father's Heavenly Kingdom.
