Larry Dale Hughes' Obituary
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Larry Dale Hughes, a devoted husband, grandfather and friend. Larry was a United States Navy Veteran. who passed away on May, 30th 2026. Larry was born in October 1947 in Covington, Virginia.
He taught his family the value of hard work, love and laughter and showed his love by always being there when you needed him and always finding a way to teach us a valuable life lesson. He will be remembered for raising three wonderful children. and being a great grandfather to 4 grandchildren.
He is survived by his brother Vernon (Eve) and his sister Kaye. His wife of 56 years Sandy, his three children Deacon (Dawn), Nicole and Angel (David), and his four grandchildren Garrett, Madison, Heaven and David. And was preceded in death by his Parents Gerlad and Mable And his Sister Janet (Robert). A formal service will not be held at this time. We will celebrate his life with friends and family in early October of this year. His family will carry his memory forward through the lessons, stories, and love he gave so generously.
